“It was a very eventful day. We had a plan that we knew we had to execute if we wanted a shot to have a solid day. We just got off to an interesting start. We got behind and had to work really hard to get back on the lead lap, and once we did that, we had a bit of an uphill battle. We had a ton of speed in our Heritage Camaro. Everyone at Kaulig racing does an incredible job at super speedways every year and today in the next gen car was no exception. I’m thankful for the opportunity to run another Daytona 500 and have a shot to bring home a 12th place finish at a superspeedway and a clean race car.” – Daniel Hemric
