Daniel Hemric, Driver of the No. 18 Poppy Bank Toyota Supra You have been strong at Las Vegas in the past. Does that give you extra confidence going into this weekend? “Las Vegas is definitely a place I feel confident going to. Any time you go to a place you’ve had success at, you feel good going into the race. But at the same time, past results don’t guarantee anything for the future. We’ll have to go to work this weekend and put everything we’ve got into it. Vegas has been a really strong track for JGR and Dave (Rogers, crew chief) at times as well, so we’ll put our heads together and come up with a package that will hopefully allow us to fire off strong and then it will be up to us to make the right adjustments in the race.”
