HEMRIC AT TEXAS: Daniel Hemric has four career NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway with a best finish of third in April 2018. He backed that up with a 10th-place run in the Xfinity Series race at the track in November 2018. In his four starts at Texas, Hemric has led 81 laps. The Kannapolis, North Carolina native also posted one top-five finish and three top-10s in four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at the 1.5-mile quad-oval.
MID-OHIO RECAP: Last weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Hemric was running solidly inside the top five before a flat left-rear tire dropped him two laps down. He managed to recover both laps and rejoined the lead lap late in the race and rallied to a 12th-place finish.
ROGERS’ RESUME: Crew chief Dave Rogers has 26 combined starts at Texas Motor Speedway between the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series. His Cup Series resume includes wins with Kyle Busch in 2013 and Carl Edwards in 2016. Altogether, his teams earned six top-five finishes, seven top-10s and 655 laps led in 17 Cup Series starts. In nine Xfinity Series starts at Texas, Rogers’ teams have a pair of top-five finishes, five top-10s and 103 laps led.

Talk about racing going to another 1.5-mile track in Texas this weekend…
“Our team is fired up to get to Texas this weekend. It has been a great track for JGR for a long time and after how well we ran a few weeks ago at Charlotte, I’m excited about what we can do there. Dave (Rogers, crew chief) and my guys are bringing fast Supras every week. We just need to put ourselves in position and I feel like we have as good a shot as anyone.”
